The Politecnico di Milano offers its students the option of booking full-rate accommodation in single or double rooms<\/strong> (as detailed in the table below) in its Halls of Residence in Milan, Lecco, Como and Cremona.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

You can reserve a place on an annual or six-monthly basis (first or second semester) \u2013 August is excluded from both types of bookings. The opening dates for the booking procedures for each period are posted by mid-June on the homepage of the Residences website.\u00a0The periods available are:<\/p>\n\n

Annual booking:\u00a026th August 2025 to 31st July 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Booking for the first semester:\u00a026th August 2025 to 13th February 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

Booking for the second semester: 16th February 2026 to 31st July 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n \n Rules and requirements <\/button>\n <\/h2>\n \n

The following students may book accommodation: <\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 students who are enrolled or intend to enrol in a degree course;<\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 foreign students participating in international mobility programmes;<\/p>\n\n

The requirements for being able to live in a hall of residence are:<\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 being at least 18 years of age as of the date of check-in; otherwise, the student must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who must check in together with the student and must sign the check-in report of the accommodation. The student must also show the consent form for minors signed by the parents and the photocopies of the identity documents;<\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 not having any outstanding financial debt towards Politecnico di Milano.<\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 not over 40 years of age at the time of booking.<\/p>\n\n

N.B<\/strong>:<\/strong> By reserving accommodation in a residence at the Politecnico di Milano, you accept, in acknowledgment, the Regulations, the Charter of Services and the Guide to Reservation of the University Residences that are currently in force.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n \n How to book <\/button>\n <\/h2>\n \n

As of the date when booking opens, full-rate housing places can be booked \u2013 until the available places run out \u2013 in accordance with the procedures that are automatically managed by the online booking system available at: residenze.gebsoftware.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n

ATTENTION \u2013 If you are a student who is not yet enrolled at Politecnico di Milano or if you are waiting for a visa, you can still book an accommodation place<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In the event of failure to enroll at Politecnico di Milano or failure to obtain a visa, the amount paid for the accommodation reservation will NOT be refunded.<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n

In order to book, you must follow these steps:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 connect the portal<\/a> (please note: if you do not have login details, you must first register on the university\u2019s Online Services portal);<\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 check availability, select the Hall of Residence, type of housing place, booking period and payment method, then save your booking;<\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 make the payment within 24 working hours in order to confirm the booking, otherwise it will be cancelled and the housing place will be on sale again. The payment must be made via PagoPA, whether it is in instalments or paid as a one-off payment;<\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 communicate the date and time that you intend to check in, as detailed in the booking guide. <\/p>\n\n

Once you have completed your booking, it will no longer be possible to change the booking period from annual to six-monthly or vice versa. <\/p>\n\n

N.B<\/strong>: Only full-rate students who are in one of Politecnico residences during the semester which immediately precedes the period they intend to book (i.e., in the residence as of May 31st for 1st semester or annual reservations, and as of December 31st for 2nd semester reservations) will have priority over new students when reserving. Those who participate in an international mobility program during the semester immediately preceding the booking, unlike during previous years, will not be able to access priority booking, but will need to book during the same stage as new guests. The stages in which it is possible to enjoy the right to priority booking are specified in the booking guide.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n \n Rates, payments and booking confirmation <\/button>\n <\/h2>\n \n

\n \n

Guests must pay\u00a0to the Politecnico di Milano the sum of\u00a0\u20ac500\u00a0as a\u00a0security deposit. The rates vary depending on the Hall of Residence and type of accommodation. The amounts set out in the\u00a0pricing list<\/a>\u00a0are per person and include \u2013 in addition to the housing place itself \u2013 utilities, the use of common kitchens and all facilities offered in the hall of residence booked, as described in the charter of services included in the documentation for each hall of residence.<\/p>\n\n

During the booking process, students can choose one of the following payment options: <\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 one-off payment: by paying the full amount up front (when choosing this option, a discount will be applied to the fee) and the damage deposit; <\/p>\n\n

   \u2013 bimonthly instalments: by paying, at the time of booking, the first of 5 instalments for annual booking or the first of 3 instalments for six-monthly booking (and the damage deposit). <\/p>\n\n

For both methods, the payment of the amounts is due by and no later than the expiry dates, and must be carried out through the PagoPA platform, following the instructions given\u00a0here.<\/a><\/p>\n\n

You will receive a confirmation of your booking after the first payment (whether this is the full amount paid up front or the first instalment, depending on the payment option selected). The student has 24 hours to make this payment from the time when they select their room; failure to do so within this timeframe will result in the booking being cancelled. The booking is then confirmed within the following 48 hours.<\/p>\n\n

Subsequent instalments are paid according to the following deadlines:<\/p>\n\n

the second instalment is requested on 1st October and must be paid by 15\/10\/2025
the third instalment is requested on 2nd December and must be paid by 15\/12\/2025
the fourth instalment is requested on 3rd February and must be paid by 16\/02\/2026
the fifth instalment is requested on 1st April and must be paid by 15\/04\/2026<\/p>\n\n

Instalment due dates for first semester bookings<\/strong><\/strong>
the first instalment is paid at the time of booking.

the third instalment is requested on 2nd December and must be paid by 15\/12\/2025<\/p>\n\n

Instalment due dates for second semester bookings<\/strong><\/strong>
the first instalment is paid at the time of booking.
the second instalment is requested on 1st April and must be paid by 15\/04\/2026
the third instalment is requested on 3rd June and must be paid by 17\/06\/2026<\/p>\n\n

Failure to pay the instalments by the deadlines will result in a 10% late payment fee being applied to the instalment.
